Chidinma empowers over 600 youths in Uganda

Nigerian star, Chidinma, has made international headlines after empow­ering over 600 youths in Uganda and other parts of Africa. The plenty Melody singer and songwriter, Chidinma Ekile, pop­ularly known by her stage name Chidinma, has paid a three-day visit to Uganda, aimed at inspir­ing young people through a reach out project, GetupSpeakOut, organised by Reach A Hand, Uganda. The non-profit youth-led or­ganisation focused on youth em­powerment programs with the emphasis on SRHR and HIV/ AIDS awareness. She empowered over 600 young people from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Dem­ocratic Republic of Congo and Somalia through her inspiring speech. She spoke on topics ranging from teenage pregnancy, HIV/ AIDS, peer pressure, rape to drug abuse to mark the foundation’s fourth Annual Youth Camp, dubbed GetUpSpeakOut She attended the event along­side Emmanuel Ikubese, the lead actor in the award winning Tv se­ries, Shuga.
